About the Founder/Blogger:
Alaia Williams, founder of One Organized Life, began organizing out of a passion to help others feel better about their environments. She created One Organized Life out of a desire to help people get a handle on areas of their lives that were in chaos. Her clients have included stay-at-home parents, teenagers, teachers, filmmakers, actors, photographers, store owners, and other business professionals.
During consults with clients, she heard people say many things, among them:
“I can’t find what I’m looking for.”
“I waste time looking for things.”
“My bills are always late.”
“I am too embarrassed to have anyone over.”
“My boss gets upset when I can’t put my hand right on the report he needs.”
“My employees can’t find what they need.”
“I’m drowning in a sea of papers.”
“I don’t want my kids to pick up my bad habits.”
“I’m missing out on potential clients because I can’t find their information.”
“I can’t park my car in my garage because it’s so full of stuff.”
“I have five staplers.”
“I avoid coming home because I don’t want to think about the mess.”
“I’m overwhelmed.”
Realizing that people do many things in their day to day lives, Alaia has shaped One Organized Life with the vision of helping clients get a firm grip on what is most important to them so they can achieve a greater sense of balance and peace in their everyday lives. In addition to her own personal studies, Alaia spent time learning a great deal about simplicity from Quakers – a group of people who rank simplicity among their top values. With the thought that people makes their lives way more complicated than they need to be, she works to blend simplicity into her organizing solutions every step of the way.
Instead of feeling like they were scattered and living a million different disconnected lives, the company was created to help people bring the pieces of the puzzle together – to have One Organized Life.
About the company:
One Organized Life serves clients in Southern California, primarily in the Greater Los Angeles area. Special arrangements can be made for out-of-town and out-of-state projects. Phone sessions/consultations are also available.
We work with clients to help them bring balance, harmony, and simplicity to their environments – and lives!
We can clear your clutter, help you simplify your possessions, and set up systems – all while showing you how to keep your home or office organized.
We listen to your needs and find solutions based on what will work for YOU. One Organized Life can handle any size project. Work can be done one-on-one between the client and a single organizer, or by a lead organizer with a supporting team.
Examples of previous projects:
Setting up systems in a new home or office
Entire homes
Home offices
Kid’s rooms
Cubicles/workstations
Supply closets
Clothes closets
Desks
Cars
Studio apartments
College dorms
We make sure that the work we do is a custom fit to each client’s needs. One size does not fit all – at One Organized Life we tailor our work to the situation at hand and provide you with systems you can maintain once the project is complete.

Love your blog. Great information. I will start checking it out regularly.
I’m a writer and my blog is short-stories. But I do have an employee development company VIBE Leadership and your site will definitely be a reference.
Love the idea of your business! Also a great idea to promote your business through your blog. I would love to hear more about how you started your business and what makes it successful – my girlfriend is looking to start something similar – just for her church and friends here in Sacramento…
Look forward to reading more of your insight and blog!
I have been reading more of your blog and I LOVE the clean look! Thanks so much for featuring my post on John.
I will be sure to continue to check back here for further news and tips!

I’ve been trying to post a comment on the site, on a blog carnival post, but the site is telling me the comment was “discarded.” Do you know what that means?
